The following Google Video by Guy Kawasaki is a very nice summary of his acclaimed book The Art of the Start. It was recorded at a presentation at the Indus Entrepreneur organization. It is a humorous and passionate presentation about creating companies. While we might think that it has no application to our situation since we are all running mature companies but the reality is that we should always be in a startup mode. What I mean by this is that in our fast paced world with all the changes happening around us, we need to be constantly innovating and re-inventing and in essence re-starting our companies.

Pay special attention to Guy’s concepts of “make meaning” and “have mantra”. He’s got some great ideas and concepts and well worth the time to watch.
